FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Ruth's Miracle Group Home Foundation (RMGH) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization under the Internal Revenue Code (Code).  Ruth's Miracle Group Home was founded by Veronica Alston in 2009 with private donations.  On April 15, 2011,  the Internal Revenue Service qualified RMGH to receive monetary contributions.  RMGH is also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2108 or 2522 of the Code.  RMGH is in no way affiliated with the House of Ruth or any other organization with the name Ruth or Ruth's Miracle.

Q. How long can an individual stay?

A.  RMGH program is a one year program.  If an individual should need more time based on how long their process is to remain clean, they are welcome to stay longer.

Q. Is transportation available?

A. RMGH provides transportation to all AA, NA and doctor visits. Bus line is also available.

Q. Is drug testing administered?

A. Drug testing is random. RMGH strongly believes that each individual is responsible for their own sobriety.

Q. Are home visits allowed?

A. Yes, with caution at their own risk

Q. Is smoking cigarettes allowed?

A. Everyone knows that is not good for us, but one day at a time smoking is allowed.

Q.  Does RMGH hold inside meetings and outside meetings?

A. RMGH is dedicated to holding meetings both inside and outside the home.  This helps build to build our network.

Q. What meetings are there?

NA, AA, and CDA meetings are held with a guest speaker one day a week.  Altogether there are six meetings a week, all mandatory.

A. If YOU have the faith, you will prosper.
